Three New Sony Smartphones – FCC Certification
As mentioned, three new Sony smartphones have received the FCC certification, and they have been certified with the respective FCC IDs of ‘PY7-29686W’, ‘PY7-35087R’, and ‘PY7-63277Y’. One of them is revealed to be a 5G device supporting 2G/3G/4G/5G network, Bluetooth, WiFi 6, NFC, and GNSS, whereas the other two are listed as 4G devices with 2G/3G/4G network, Bluetooth, WiFi 6, NFC, and GNSS. Furthermore, one among the 4G devices is again listed with specs like dual band (2.4G+ 5G) support for WiFi, BDR + EDR + LE for Bluetooth, 3.5mm audio-jack, and 30W charging adapter (model number – ‘XQC-UC1’) + 1 meter USB cable (model number – ‘XQC-UB1’).
Speaking more, the previous Xperia 10 VI smartphone from Sony came as a 5G device back in May 2024 and the now FCC-listed new 5G device could possibly be its successor – the Sony Xperia 10 VII. As per earlier updates, this device is likely to feature specs such as Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 6s Gen 3 chipset and a 120Hz OLED display screen with an aspect ratio of 16:9.
