Via three new certification/listing databases, a new TECNO tablet has now been spotted, and it is pointed out to arrive as the successor to the Megapad SE. As per the Google Play Console, FCC, and TUV databases, several of its key specs and design details have also been revealed.

TECNO Megapad SE 2 – Google Play Console, FCC, and TUV Listings
On the Google Play Console database, this new tablet has been listed with the model number of ‘T1002’. Via its listing, it is revealed to feature a processor with the codename of MediaTek MT8786, having 2x ARM Cortex-A75 cores clocked at 2000 MHz and 6x ARM Cortex-A55 cores clocked at 1800 MHz, paired with the ARM Mali-G52 GPU clocked at 950 MHz.
Furthermore, the listing also confirms that the upcoming TECNO Megapad SE 2 tablet will run on the Android 16 operating system, and one of its RAM options will be 4GB. It is also pointed out to feature a display supporting 1280 x 2048 pixel resolution and 300 DPI pixel density.
Regarding the front design image, the tablet is revealed to feature thick bezels on all four sides. Towards the right side panel, four buttons can be seen, among which three buttons are placed towards the top, likely to be the power button and volume rockers. Another unknown button, appearing in an orange shade, can also be seen placed towards the lower part of the right side panel.
The same ‘T1002’ model number has also appeared on the FCC database with the FCC ID of ‘2ADYY-T1002’. Via this listing, the tablet’s battery model number has been mentioned as ‘BL-68ET’, and it is pointed out to pack a 6800mAh battery. A compatible 18W charger carrying the model number of ‘U180TSE’ has also been revealed.
Additionally, the FCC certification has also revealed the rear panel design of the tablet, and it appears to feature a similar camera deco that we have seen on the recently-launched TECNO POVA series smartphones.

About the TUV certification, it carries the certification number of ‘JPTUV-186965’ and again lists the same ‘T1002’ model number. The certification also confirms the 6800mAh battery capacity, which is the same as what was revealed via the FCC database.
Speaking more, under the EU differences section, several country codes such as EU and Saudi Arabia have been mentioned, pointing to its launch in these regions. However, looking at the battery specs, the upcoming Megapad SE 2 seems to bring a downgrade in this aspect when compared to the previous Megapad SE tablet, which came with an 8000mAh battery.
