Tecno Camon Slim/Air (CN6C) – Google Play Console and Geekbench Listings
Starting with what has been revealed via the Google Play Console listing, the upcoming Tecno Camon Slim/Air smartphone with the model number of ‘CN6C’ has appeared with the Tecno Camon Slim/Air moniker. This means that the same device will likely be launched with two monikers, most probably region-specific. Additionally, the listing also mentions the processor codename ‘MediaTek MT6789V/CD’, and it is pointed out to feature 2x ARM Cortex-A76 cores clocked at 2.20GHz and 6x ARM Cortex-A55 cores clocked at 2.00GHz, paired with the ARM Mali-G57 GPU.

Upon checking this chipset, it points to the MediaTek Helio G99 SoC, but this may not be the case, and the device could possibly arrive with the Helio G100 or Helio G200 chipset. To note, the Helio G99 is a 2022-launched chipset, and all three chipsets carry the same core architecture, with the Helio G200 having a slight change in GPU frequency. Other revealed specs include the 8GB RAM option, Android 16 operating system, 1080 x 2364 pixels screen resolution, and 420 DPI screen density.
Moving on to the Geekbench database, the same model number as shared above has been listed, and as per the listing, the device has attained single-core and multi-core scores of 712 points and 1838 points respectively. Furthermore, an octa-core processor is listed with 2 primary cores clocked at 2.20GHz and the remaining 6 cores clocked at 2.00GHz, along with 8GB RAM and Android 16 operating system. The build version ‘CN6c-16.3.0.115SP05(OP004PF001AZ)FANS’ has also been mentioned, and via the source code, the Mali-G57 MC2 GPU has been revealed.

Again, this seems to be a dead end for now, but all details still point to the Helio G99 SoC. However, it would be wise to wait for the official announcement or more certification listings to confirm the actual chipset that will be equipped within the device.
Speaking more, previously this same handset had made its appearance on multiple databases including FCC, Carlcare Services, and TUV. The FCC listing had revealed that the device will pack a rechargeable Li-ion Polymer Battery with the model number of ‘BL-68DX’, and this battery is revealed to have a 7000mAh typical capacity and 6840mAh rated capacity. The charging adapter carrying the model number ‘U600TSA’ was also listed, pointing to 60W wired fast charging support.
Additionally, the FCC listing also revealed that the device will support NFC and dual-band Wi-Fi, while the design schematic appeared to look quite similar to that of the Tecno Spark Slim. This could hint that the device may arrive as a rebranded model, and if that may be the case, then it will likely feature the Helio G200 SoC.
The TUV listing, on the other hand, had mentioned two rechargeable Li-ion Polymer batteries having capacities of 5800mAh and 5430mAh. Lastly, on the Indonesian side of the Carlcare Services website, the device was revealed to have two memory variants – 8GB/128GB and 8GB/256GB.
In the coming days, more updates concerning the mentioned device can be expected, which could reveal its other details as well as launch time frame. Stay tuned for more updates.
