We’ve been tracking the upcoming Tecno Camon 40 series over the past month, first noting the Camon 40 Pro 5G and Camon 40 Premier on EEC certification. Soon after, the Camon 40 Pro 5G appeared on the Geekbench database. Now, we’ve discovered the 4G variant of the Camon 40 Pro on TUV certification.

The TUV certification displays the model number “CM6,” though without the device name. Previous IMEI database listings had connected this model number to the Tecno Camon 40 Pro. According to the listing, the device will feature a 5100mAh battery.
So far, four models in the Camon 40 series have been reported: Camon 40- ‘CM5’, Camon 40 Pro- ‘CM6’, Camon 40 Pro 5G- ‘CM7’, and Camon 40 Premier 5G-‘CM8’. For comparison, the previous Camon 30 series included six variants: Camon 30, Camon 30 5G, Camon 30 Pro 5G, Camon 30 Premier 5G, Camon 30S (4G), and Camon 30S Pro (4G) models.
Since the entire Camon 30 series featured 5000mAh batteries, it’s possible the Camon 40 series might standardize on the larger 5100mAh capacity. However, we’ll need to wait for official confirmation on the complete specifications.
