Sony’s CFI-Y2000 and CFI-Y2105 – Spotted on Wi-Fi Alliance, Possible PlayStation Portal OLED Models
As per the details shared by tipster Abhishek Yadav, two Sony Interactive Entertainment devices that carry the model numbers ‘CFI-Y2000’ and ‘CFI-Y2105’ have been spotted on the Wi-Fi Alliance database, and both were certified on the 21st of September 2026 as a ‘Computer Entertainment System’ and listed under the Gaming Console category.

About the revealed specifications, Android 15 OS and Wi-Fi 5 connectivity with support for the 2.4GHz and 5GHz bands have been pointed out for these devices. Additionally, the description mentions “3.5mm earphone and USB only for charging”, suggesting a 3.5mm headphone connection and a USB port intended only for charging.
Speaking more, Sony’s PlayStation Portal was launched in November 2023 with the model number ‘CFI-Y1000 ’, and the newly listed devices share a similar ‘CFI-Y’ model-number format, suggesting that they could be new PlayStation Portal models, as pointed out by the tipster. On the other hand, PS5 consoles use model numbers in the ‘CFI-1xxx’ and ‘CFI-2xxx’ ranges; therefore, the ones found in the database aren’t for the consoles.
Also to note, leaker Kepler_L2 claimed in January that Sony was working on an OLED version of the PlayStation Portal for this year, and another leaker, Zuby_Tech, backed the claim in August. This means that the newly certified devices could be related to the PlayStation Portal OLED.
However, the Wi-Fi Alliance listings do not mention an OLED display or reveal the PlayStation Portal moniker.
Stay tuned for more updates!
