Samsung’s Upcoming Galaxy S25+ and Galaxy S25 Ultra Models Spotted on the BIS Database of India

The next Galaxy S25 series is nearing its expected launch time frame and we have already come across multiple reports concerning the three upcoming devices that are debuting early next year. Now, we have spotted the Galaxy S25+ and Galaxy S25 Ultra models on the Indian BIS certification website.

Galaxy S25+ and Galaxy S25 Ultra – BIS Listing

The Galaxy S25+ and Galaxy S25 Ultra smartphones listed on the BIS certification platform carry the model numbers – ‘SM-S936B/DS’ and ‘SM-S938B/DS’ respectively, and have received inclusion on to the BIS database as of on the 22nd of November 2024. The model numbers also point out that these are dual SIM devices.

In related news, the Galaxy S25 Ultra model bearing model number – ‘SM-S938B’ has been spotted on Geekbench as well, featuring the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite processor. This means that in the Indian market, the Galaxy S25 Ultra will be coming with the Snapdragon 8 Elite chip onboard. However, the Galaxy S25+ which has the model number of ‘SM-S936B’ appeared on Geekbench with the Exynos 2500 processor, suggesting the Exynos variant for Indian consumers. Just to add, the vanilla Galaxy S25 (SM-S931N) was also spotted on Geekbench a few days back.

Speaking about the other updates concerning the two smartphones, the live image and silicon cases of both the Galaxy S25+ and Galaxy S25 Ultra models were shared online, and the two have also been certified by the 3C certification authority of China revealing their 45W wired fast charge support. The dummy units of the Galaxy S25 Ultra were also shared online very recently, but without the Galaxy Z Fold 6-like camera rings. The latest One UI 7 custom skin based on the Android 15 operating system is also believed to come pre-installed on the two devices.
