Samsung’s Latest Galaxy S25 Edge Smartphone Spotted on the 3C Database: Wired Charging Spec Revealed

The South Korean smartphone maker, Samsung, has officially launched three of its latest Galaxy S25 series smartphones and the fourth much-awaited Galaxy S25 series thin form factor device – the ‘Galaxy S25 Edge’ was also showcased at the recent launch event. While this device is expected to hit market in Q2 2025, it has now appeared on the 3C certification database revealing its wired charging spec.

Galaxy S25 Edge – 3C Certification

The Galaxy S25 Edge smartphone which bears the model number – ‘SM-S9370’ has been listed on the 3C database, and it has been certified with the certificate number – ‘2025011606750506’. This device has been categorized as a ‘5G digital mobile telephone set’, and is suggested to support a 25W wired fast charge feature. Also to note, its certification will be valid till the 22nd of January 2030.

Speaking more, the Galaxy S25 Edge, even though showing some resemblance with the OPPO K12x Chinese variant/OnePlus Nord CE 4 Lite, it has actually caught the attention of the tech world and surprisingly to note, at the Galaxy Unpacked event itself the whole attention of the crowd was drawn to this device rather than the newly-released Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25+, and Galaxy S25 Ultra models.

The brand is still yet to officially drop something about its specs, features, or launch date, however, based on a recent update, this device was tipped to come equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite over-clocked version chip (4.47 GHz primary clock speed), equip a 6.7″ straight display panel, sport a 200MP(main) + 50MP(ultrawide) dual rear camera system, pack a 3900 mAh battery, and feature a 6.4 mm thin form factor design. Also, as per previous reports, Samsung is likely to make this device available to customers probably in the month of May 2025.
