Well, we may get to see this Privacy Display in smartphones from other brands in the future. Tipster Digital Chat Station has today tipped that Samsung is tentatively scheduled to supply privacy screens to external manufacturers by the end of 2028, while some major brands are said to be waiting for Samsung’s privacy screens.
Other than this, it is also revealed that Xiaomi and Honor are currently testing hardware-level privacy screens, though the display quality of these domestically produced screen solutions is still not certain, and we have to wait for mass production testing to know more about the domestic screens.
It appears that the Privacy Display feature has caught the attention of external manufacturers, and in the future, users won’t have to go for a Galaxy device to experience such a display.
