Samsung has recently launched its latest foldable devices- Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Z Flip 6. These smartphones arrive with Samsung’s latest OneUI 6.1.1 upgrade that includes some new AI features. It was recently revealed that this upgrade will soon be reaching other Galaxy devices as well but the release timeline was not known.
Today tipster @tarunvats33 has revealed via the X platform that the OneUI 6.1 (based on 6.1.1) update is expected to arrive on Galaxy Z Fold/ Flip 5, Galaxy S24 series, and Galaxy S23 series between August 1st to August 15th. The users of these devices are advised to keep checking for this update between the above-mentioned timelines.
OneUI 6.1.1- New Features
It includes new AI features- Portrait Studio which turns pictures of a person into cartoons and sketches, Sketch to Image feature which turns a rough hand-drawn sketch into an AI-generated image, Live Effect feature which turns a 2D image into 3D. In Editor, support for Motion Clipper and Cut features are available.
Support for an overlay with translation features for text or images is included. Features like FlexCamcorder, auto-zoom, instant slow-mo, Astro Portrait, Raw Editor, and improved image quality also arrive with this upgrade.
