Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra spotted on India’s BIS certification website: Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra and Galaxy Z Fold 8 expected specs tipped online

The South Korean tech giant Samsung is rumoured to unveil its latest foldable devices: Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra and Galaxy Z Fold 8 next month at its July Unpacked 2026 event. Lately, a lot of updates regarding these devices have been surfacing online.

Ahead of the upcoming launch, Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra has now made its appearance on India’s BIS certification website (via @saaaanjjjuuu). The tipster has also shared the expected spec list of the upcoming foldable devices.

Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra: Spotted on BIS

The Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra has been spotted on India’s BIS certification website with model number SM-F976B. The listing does not reveal much about the device, but it did confirm that the Indian launch is imminent. Previously, similar model numbers were spotted on the Bluetooth SIG database as well.

The tipster has also shared the expected spec details for the upcoming Galaxy foldable smartphones.

The Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra is tipped to feature 6.5-inch and 8.0-inch displays that offer a 120Hz refresh rate. It is said to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 SoC and provide UFS 4.0 storage. The device could pack a 200MP main camera, 50MP ultra-wide camera, 10MP 3x telephoto camera on the rear side and 10MP selfie cameras. It is expected to be backed by a 5000 mAh battery, support 45W wired and 25W wireless charging. It is said to be 4.1mm thick when unfolded.

Meanwhile, the Galaxy Z Fold 8 could feature 5.4-inch and 7.6-inch M14 displays, offering a 120Hz refresh rate. Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 is expected to power this device, and it could offer UFS 4.0 storage. Coming to the imaging system, the foldable is tipped to sport a 50MP main camera and a 50MP ultra-wide camera on the rear side and 10MP selfie cameras on the cover and main display. A 4800 mAh battery could back the device, with support for 45W wired and 25W wireless charging. It is said to be 4.5mm thick when unfolded.
