Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 8 Tipped With 7.6″ QHD+ Display, Snapdragon 8 Gen 5, 50MP Dual Rear Cameras, and 4,800mAh Battery

Earlier this morning, we covered a story about the upcoming Galaxy Z Fold 8 series and Galaxy Z Flip 8, in which their leaked cases revealed the expected colour options. Well now, adding to it, a tipster has revealed the key specifications of the Galaxy Z Fold 8 smartphone ahead of its rumoured July launch.

This latest piece of information concerning the Galaxy Z Fold 8 comes from tipster Ahmed Qwaider, who has shared the key specifications of the upcoming foldable smartphone on X. As per what has been shared, the Galaxy Z Fold 8 is tipped to feature Dynamic AMOLED 2X display panels with 120Hz refresh rate support.
The upcoming Galaxy Z Fold 8 smartphone is said to measure 123.9 x 81.9 x 9.7 mm in its folded state, while in the unfolded state, it is tipped to measure 123.9 x 161.4 x 4.5 mm. The device is also said to weigh 201 grams.

Coming to its display, the Galaxy Z Fold 8 is likely to offer a 7.6″ QHD+ main display with a 4:3 aspect ratio, along with a 5.5″ QHD+ cover display with a 16:10 aspect ratio. For cameras, the device is tipped to sport a dual rear camera system, comprising a 50MP ultra-wide camera with f/1.9 aperture and a 50MP wide camera with f/1.8 aperture. At the front, it is said to feature a 10MP f/2.2 camera on the cover display and another 10MP f/2.2 camera on the inner display.
Under the hood, the Galaxy Z Fold 8 is tipped to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 for Galaxy processor, based on a 3nm process. The device is expected to arrive with 12GB RAM and 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB storage options. A 4,800 mAh battery backup has also been tipped, along with Super Fast Charging 2.0 and Fast Wireless Charging 2.0 support.
Looking into the past updates, tipster Ice Universe had earlier claimed that the Galaxy Z Fold 8 series, along with the Galaxy Z Flip 8, won’t be coming with the Privacy Display feature that was introduced with the Galaxy S26 Ultra. Also, to add, the leaked cases revealed three colour options – Black, Red, and Blue for the Galaxy Z Fold 8, though there will be more.
