Samsung Galaxy Watch FE Smartwatch Appeared On Bluetooth SIG, Renders, Specs And Price Also Tipped Ahead Of Launch

Samsung can soon launch its smartwatch Samsung Galaxy Watch FE whose moniker was just confirmed when it appeared on the TDRA certification website. The smartwatch will come in two variants Wi-Fi (SM-R861) and LTE (SM-R866). And just recently its Wi-Fi variant support page went live on Samsung’s official website in Ireland, Latin America, and the UK. Now the smartwatch has again been found listed on a certification website but this time on Bluetooth SIG.

The listing reaffirms the moniker Galaxy Watch FE associated with the model number SM-R861. The same moniker has also appeared on it with SM-R866F, SM-R866U, and SM-R866N model numbers. Here the other model numbers with which the Galaxy FE smartwatch has appeared on the certification website appear to be the smartwatch for the different regions. Apart from these things the listing also confirms that the smartwatch will support Bluetooth 5.3.

The smartwatch’s renders, specs, and price have also been tipped by the Sudhanshu Ambhore named tipster on X.

Leaked renders

As per the leaked renders of the smartwatch, it shows thick bezels around the round display with an aluminum body and two buttons on one side. It can come in three color options with just silicone strap options having blue, pink, and black shades. The design is similar to the Galaxy Watch 4 which comes with thick bezels.

Leaked Specs

As per the tipster, the smartwatch can come with a 1.2″ Super AMOLED display with 396×396 pixels resolution. It can be powered by the Exynos W920 Dual Core 1.18 GHz processor and packs 1.5GB RAM with 16GB storage. The smartwatch can run the WearOS-based Samsung Galaxy Watch 5.0. It can be backed by a 247mAh battery that can offer up to 30 hours of battery life. It can come with a magnetic wireless charging feature. On one side where its body gives its strength, it can come with water certification up to 5 ATM, IP68, and MIL-STD-810H compliance that can further enhance its resilience.

The smartwatch is said to be compatible with the Android OS 11 or higher and at least 1.5GB of RAM. The tipster says that it can come equipped with an Accelerometer, Barometer, Bioelectrical Impedance Analysis, Electrical Cardiac Sensor, Gyroscope, Geomagnetic Sensor, Brightness, and Heart Rate (optical) sensors. It can come with NFC support, Wi-Fi (802.11 a/b/g/n 2.4 GHz + 5 GHz), GPS. As far as price is concerned the tipster says that it can be priced under €180.

The specs that Tipster has shared are exactly the same as the specs of the Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 smartwatch and even the renders do not look so different from it. This means if these specs come out to be true the Samsung Galaxy Watch FE would no less than be a Galaxy Watch(2024) underneath.
