Samsung Galaxy S27 Series – New Updates Shared

First off, as reported earlier, Samsung is expected to extend the Galaxy S26 Ultra-exclusive Privacy Display feature to the Galaxy S27 Pro variant as well, apart from the Ultra model. Now, as per the details shared by the South Korean publication The Elec, all the smartphones in the upcoming Galaxy S27 series are likely to bring this feature, meaning even the vanilla Galaxy S27 model is also suggested to be getting it.

Another report has also revealed the camera specifications of the Galaxy S27 Pro and Galaxy S27 Ultra models, as per which, Samsung is said to upgrade the front-facing camera to a 16MP square sensor. This selfie camera is expected to bring functionality similar to Apple’s square Center Stage front cameras that were introduced with the iPhone 17 series.

Speaking more, the report also speculates that there could be four models in the upcoming Galaxy S27 series, and this may include the Galaxy S27, Galaxy S27 Plus, Galaxy S27 Pro, and Galaxy S27 Ultra smartphones. This speculation is based on the model references reportedly being used by Samsung, which includes NM1, NM2, NM3, and NM4, where “N” is said to mean “Next” and “M” is said to stand for “Miracle.”

Furthermore, there is no concrete information available at the moment regarding whether the Galaxy S27 and Galaxy S27 Plus models will also be coming with the new front-facing selfie camera or not. However, for the Galaxy S27 Pro and Galaxy S27 Ultra models, a 50MP telephoto camera and a 50MP ultra-wide camera at the rear can also be expected.

Stay tuned for more updates.
