Samsung Galaxy S24 FE spotted on Google Play Console ahead of its official launch

Samsung is all set to launch the Galaxy S24 FE and Galaxy Tab S10 series both in India and globally. This became evident when Samsung Indonesia released a teaser for a 26 September launch, which was later removed. However, it is certain that both devices will be coming soon. Adding to the excitement, we have spotted the Galaxy S24 FE on Google Play Console, revealing some of the key specifications.

Samsung Galaxy S24 FE Google Play Console

It is listed with the model number “SM-S712B” and also shows the moniker to be S24 FE. Further down in the listing, it shows the SoC codename to be Samsung s5e9945 paired with Samsung Xclipse 940 GPU clocked at 1095MHz. It shows a total of 4 clusters with 4 cores running at 1.959 GHz, 3 at 2.592 GHz, 2 at 2.9 GHz, and 1 at 3.207 GHz. While this may point to Samsung’s in-house Exynos 2400 SoC which powers the Galaxy S24 and S24+ (Indian Variant), an earlier Geekbench listing, which is rather more trustworthy, showed a slight variation in how the CPU cores were clocked. At that time, it was revealed to come with an underclocked version of the Exynos 2400e, which has most of the cores clocked as per the Exynos 2400, but only one core was underclocked at 3.11 GHz. Other than this, it is shown to come with at least 8GB of RAM and will boot from Android 14 out of the box. However, which version of OneUI 6 it is going to come with is still unknown.

If you look at the design revealed via the placeholder image in the Google Play Console, it shows similarities with what we have seen in the Galaxy S24. You can see Samsung’s iconic three-camera placed vertically with an LED flash placed next to it. The front has a punch-hole layout with symmetrical bezels on all sides except the chin, which is slightly thicker, with the volume rocker and power button placed on the right side. Further down, the listing also shows its screen resolution of 1080×2340 pixels with a pixel density of 450 DPI.

The colour option shown here is sky blue. Also, as per the Wireless Power Consortium, it is expected to come with 15W wireless charging and 25W wired charging. As the launch day draws closer, hopefully, there will be an official announcement soon coming from the brand itself.
