However, according to a new leak from tipster Gadgetsdata, Samsung is planning to launch both smartphones in 2026.

As per the leak, Samsung will launch both smartphones in Q1 2026. Just like usual, the Galaxy M17 5G will launch via Amazon India, while the F17 5G will be available through Flipkart. The Geekbench and Google Play Console listings have already revealed that both these models are essentially rebranded Galaxy A17 5G, which has launched globally and is set to debut in India on 29th August. The listings confirm that the phones will be powered by the Exynos 1330 SoC and run One UI 7 based on Android 15. Apart from the launch timeline and pricing, the tipster also revealed several key specifications. Both phones are expected to feature a FHD+ 90Hz AMOLED display with a notch, UFS 2.2 storage, a 50MP main rear sensor, and a 13MP selfie camera. They are likely to pack a 5,000mAh battery with 25W fast wired charging support. Additionally, they will come with an IP54 rating for dust and splash resistance and are expected to receive 6 years of updates, which has become standard for most recent Samsung launches.
