On the FCC certification database, the upcoming Samsung smartphone carrying the model numbers ‘SM-A085M’ and ‘SM-A085M/DS’ has been listed with the FCC ID of ‘ZCASMA085M’. The former appears to be the single-SIM version of the device, whereas the latter, carrying the ‘DS’ suffix, is revealed to be its dual-SIM version.

Speaking about its connectivity options, the certification confirms that the upcoming smartphone will support GSM, WCDMA, LTE FDD, LTE TDD, 2.4GHz and 5GHz Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and FM radio connectivity.

Another important detail revealed through the FCC listing is regarding its battery and charging capabilities. The device was tested with a battery carrying the model number ‘LC-196’, which, upon checking, is found to have a capacity of 5,830mAh and is expected to be marketed as a 6,000mAh battery.

The certification further mentions the ‘EP-T1510’ charging adapter, which supports up to 15W wired charging. This suggests that the upcoming Samsung Galaxy A08 4G smartphone could also support 15W wired charging.

Lastly, a design schematic of the smartphone has also been revealed through the FCC database, and it confirms that a vertically placed camera module will be present at the rear.

Galaxy A08 4G, Galaxy M08 4G and Galaxy F08 4G – Wi-Fi Alliance Certification

Coming to the Wi-Fi Alliance certification platform, both the ‘SM-A085M’ and ‘SM-A085M/DS’ models have been listed along with two other devices carrying the model numbers ‘SM-E085F/DS’ and ‘SM-M085F/DS’. The listings confirm support for dual-band Wi-Fi connectivity over the 2.4GHz and 5GHz frequency bands.

The marketing names of the ‘SM-E085F/DS’ and ‘SM-M085F/DS’ models have not been revealed through the certification. However, looking at the similarities between the three model numbers and Samsung’s usual naming pattern, the two devices are expected to launch as the Galaxy F08 4G and Galaxy M08 4G, respectively.
