It seems like Samsung is all set to launch its upcoming Galaxy A08 4G and Galaxy Tab S12 Ultra soon, as we have now spotted both devices on the Google Play Console Supported Devices list. Their appearance comes just days after the Galaxy S26 FE and Galaxy Tab S12+ were also spotted on the same platform, further hinting that Samsung is preparing several new devices for launch.

Samsung Galaxy A08 4G and Galaxy Tab S12 Ultra Spotted on Google Play Console
Starting with the Galaxy A08, the device has appeared on the Google Play Console Supported Devices list with the “a08” codename.
The model numbers seen against this device family include:
SM-A085F
SM-E085F
SM-M085F
Now, one thing to note here is that while these devices appear to share the same underlying device family, previous certification listings have associated SM-A085F with the Galaxy A08 4G, whereas SM-E085F and SM-M085F are expected to launch as the Galaxy F08 4G and Galaxy M08 4G respectively. This suggests that the three could once again arrive as closely related or rebranded smartphones for different sales channels.

Coming to the Galaxy Tab S12 Ultra, both its Wi-Fi and 5G variants have now appeared on the Google Play Console Supported Devices list.
The Wi-Fi variant carries the “gts12uwifi” codename with the model number:
SM-X940
Meanwhile, the 5G variant carries the “gts12u” codename and has appeared with the following model numbers:
SM-X946B (India/Global)
SM-X946N (Korea)
These model numbers aren’t entirely new either. The SM-X940 and SM-X946B variants have already appeared on India’s BIS certification database, pointing towards both Wi-Fi and 5G versions of the Galaxy Tab S12 Ultra being prepared for the Indian market.
Interestingly, just two days back, we had also spotted the upcoming Galaxy S26 FE along with the Galaxy Tab S12+ Wi-Fi and 5G variants on the same Google Play Console Supported Devices list. The Galaxy Tab S12+ appeared with model number SM-X840 for the Wi-Fi version, while its 5G variants included SM-X846B, SM-X846E, SM-X846N and SM-X848U.

With the Galaxy S26 FE, Galaxy Tab S12+, Galaxy Tab S12 Ultra and Galaxy A08 family now appearing on the Google Play Console Supported Devices list, it certainly looks like Samsung is getting closer to launching these devices.
Speaking of their possible launch timeline, a recent tip concerning the Singapore market claims that the Galaxy S26 FE could launch on September 4th 2026, while the Galaxy Tab S12+ and Galaxy Tab S12 Ultra are tipped to break cover on October 7th 2026. The Galaxy A08 LTE is also tipped to arrive sometime in October, whereas its 5G counterpart could follow in January or February 2027.
For other markets, the launch timeline could be different. While appearances on certification platforms and Google’s Supported Devices list do suggest that the devices are moving closer to launch, there isn’t any fixed rule that they must launch within a month of appearing there.
Samsung itself has not yet announced the exact launch dates for these devices, so we will have to wait for an official announcement to know for sure.
Stay tuned for more updates!
