Samsung Galaxy A08 4G and Galaxy S26 FE are both upcoming smartphones from Samsung and are expected to launch soon, with several rumours even pointing towards a possible September release for the Galaxy S26 FE. Well, now some more details regarding both devices have been revealed through their respective Google Play Console listings.
Read more about these below.
Samsung Galaxy A08 4G – Google Play Console
Starting with the Galaxy A08 4G, the smartphone has appeared on the Google Play Console with the model number SM-A085F, while its codename and product name are mentioned as “a08” and “a08xx” respectively.
According to the listing, the device was tested with around 8GB of RAM and runs Android 17.
Under the hood, the listing mentions the MediaTek MT6789V/CD chipset with an octa-core CPU consisting of two Cortex-A76 cores clocked at up to 2.2GHz and six Cortex-A55 cores running at up to 2.0GHz. It is paired with a Mali-G57 GPU running at up to 1068MHz.
Galaxy A08 4G – Front Look
The CPU configuration is consistent with MediaTek’s Helio G99 family, which also features two Cortex-A76 cores clocked at up to 2.2GHz along with six Cortex-A55 efficiency cores and a Mali-G57-class GPU. And if it indeed turns out to be this chipset, then the Galaxy A08 4G will come with the same processor as that of its predecessor, the Galaxy A07 4G.
Coming to its display, the Google Play Console listing mentions a resolution of 720 × 1600 pixels along with a screen density of 300 DPI. The device also supports OpenGL ES 3.2 and Vulkan 1.3.0 (L1).
Looking at the render revealed via the listing, the Galaxy A08 4G features a waterdrop notch display at the front, while at the rear, a dual-camera setup can be seen. The smartphone is shown in a White colour option, and its overall design appears similar to the Galaxy A07 4G that we have already seen.
This isn’t the first time we are hearing about the Galaxy A08 4G either. The SM-A085F model has already appeared on India’s BIS certification database and the Google Play Console supported devices list.
Samsung Galaxy S26 FE – Google Play Console
Coming to the Galaxy S26 FE, its Google Play Console listing shows the SM-S741U model number along with the “r14s” codename and “r14ssqw” product name.
The device is listed with around 8GB of RAM and is also shown running Android 17.
Under the hood, the Galaxy S26 FE listing mentions Samsung’s s5e9955 chipset. Its CPU consists of one Cortex-X925 core clocked at 3.4GHz, two Cortex-A725 cores at 2.9GHz, five Cortex-A725 cores at 2.35GHz and two Cortex-A520 cores running at 1.85GHz.
For graphics, the device is listed with the Samsung Xclipse 950 GPU running at 1110MHz.
These details point towards the Exynos 2500 chipset, as Samsung’s official specifications for the processor also mention a Cortex-X925-led 10-core CPU architecture paired with the Xclipse 950 GPU. The clock speeds seen in this particular listing appear slightly higher than Samsung’s standard Exynos 2500 specifications, which could be due to the software/build or configuration being tested.
The Galaxy S26 FE has also previously appeared on Geekbench with the same s5e9955 motherboard identifier, Xclipse 950 GPU, Android 17 and around 8GB RAM, further supporting the Exynos 2500 identification.
Coming to the display, the Google Play Console listing mentions a 1080 × 2340 pixel resolution along with a screen density of 450 DPI. OpenGL ES 3.2 and Vulkan 1.3.0 (L1) support are also listed.
The render image revealed through the listing also gives us a look at the design of the upcoming smartphone in light teal colour. At the rear, it features Samsung’s familiar triple-camera setup, with the three camera sensors arranged vertically inside a pill-shaped camera deco, while an LED flash is placed next to it.

Now, with both the Galaxy A08 4G and Galaxy S26 FE appearing with Android 17 builds and Certified and Supported status on Google Play Console, their respective launches certainly appear to be getting closer.
