Realme 16T 5G (RMX5268) and Realme Watch S5 (RMW2502) Spotted on Malaysian SIRIM Certification

The upcoming Realme 16T 5G smartphone and the Realme Watch S5 have now been spotted on the Malaysian SIRIM certification platform, suggesting that their launch in the Malaysian market could be nearing.

Realme 16T 5G and Realme Watch S5 – Malaysian SIRIM Certification

The model number “RMX5268”, carrying the moniker “Realme 16T 5G”, has now appeared on the Malaysian SIRIM certification website, which reveals that the device was approved on the platform on the 22nd of April 2026 with the type approval code of “RGQL/87K/0426/S(26-1922)”. Tagging along with it is the Realme Watch S5, which has also appeared on the same certification platform with the model number “RMW2502”. It was added earlier on the 16th of April 2026 with the type approval code of “RDCX/90M/0426/S(26-1869)”. While the platform does not reveal any of their key specifications, it does confirm that both devices are expected to launch soon in the Malaysian market.

Realm Watch S5 and Reame 16T 5G spotted on SIRIM

Prior to this certification, both devices had also appeared on several other certification platforms, while some of the specifications of the Realme 16T 5G had already been tipped. As per a tip shared by Abhishek Yadav, the smartphone is expected to arrive in three memory variants – 6GB/128GB, 8GB/128GB, and 8GB/256GB – along with three colour options of Starlight Red, Starlight Black, and Aurora Green in India. While the tipster had earlier suggested its India launch, the same has also been confirmed as the model number “RMX5268” was spotted on the Indian BIS certification platform as well.

Moving on to the Realme Watch S5, it was also spotted on the Indonesian SDPPI certification platform with the same model number. Similar to SIRIM, this listing does not reveal any specifications, but it does suggest that the smartwatch could also launch in the Indonesian market.

As for the launch of these two devices, an exact timeline cannot be confirmed at this point, but it is expected to happen soon. There is also a possibility that Realme may introduce both devices together in certain markets. However, since there is still no official confirmation from the brand, it would be better to wait for an announcement.
