OPPO Reno 16 F 5G AKA Reno 16 FS 5G AKA Reno 16C 5G – Spotted on Google Play Console
As mentioned, the upcoming OPPO Reno 16 F 5G smartphone has now been spotted on the Google Play Console database, and the listing reveals that the device carries the model number of ‘CPH2859’ and the device code of ‘OP62F3L1’. Speaking more about the revealed specifications, the device is listed with the MediaTek MT6878 chipset, featuring four ARM Cortex-A78 cores clocked at 2500 MHz and four ARM Cortex-A55 cores clocked at 2000 MHz, along with the ARM Mali-G615 GPU clocked at 1047 MHz.
Based on the mentioned CPU and GPU architecture, the chipset could either be the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 or the MediaTek Dimensity 7360, as both chipsets share similar core and GPU architecture. Also to note, the latter was launched as a re-branded version of the Dimensity 7300.

Moreover, the OPPO Reno 16 F 5G has also been listed with 12GB RAM and will be running on the Android 16 operating system. Coming to its design, the front side of the smartphone features a punch-hole display, while the power button and volume rocker can be seen on the right side. A third button is also visible on the left side, which could possibly be a dedicated AI key, however, this is not confirmed yet. The listing further reveals a screen resolution of 1020 x 2372 pixels and a pixel density of 480 DPI.

Another important detail has been revealed through the Google Play Console Supported Devices List, which confirms that this same device will also launch as the OPPO Reno 16 FS 5G. Similar to how the Reno 15 F 5G featured a slightly bigger battery and more memory options than the Reno 15 FS 5G while keeping most of the other specifications the same, the same could be followed with the Reno 16 F 5G and Reno 16 FS 5G models as well.

Notably, the Google Play Console Supported Devices List also suggests that the OPPO Reno 16C 5G will likely be a re-branded version of the same device, as it has been listed with the same model number and device code. Previously, this same device had also appeared on the NBD database, which revealed a 12GB/512GB storage variant. However, in the previous database listings, the moniker that was spotted was the OPPO Reno 16 F 5G.
Speaking more, the OPPO Reno 16 F 5G was earlier spotted on the TDRA database, which confirmed its launch in the UAE market, while the TUV listing revealed 80W fast charging support. Along with this, the same model number had also appeared on the EEC database and the Indian BIS database.
For the European region, this device is expected to launch in two versions — OPPO Reno 16 F 5G and OPPO Reno 16 FS 5G, with the latter likely being a trimmed-down version of the former. In India, however, this same variant will likely launch as the OPPO Reno 16C 5G, as the same model number has already appeared on the BIS database as well.
Lastly, 91Mobiles had previously reported that a total of four Reno 16 series smartphones will break cover in India next month (July), including the vanilla Reno 16, Reno 16 Pro, Reno 16 Pro Mini, and Reno 16C 5G models.
