Oppo Pad SE spotted on BIS hinting towards India launch

Oppo has already launched the Oppo Pad SE in both its home market, China, and globally. In China, both only the Wi-Fi variant was launched. Globally, however, the Wi-Fi variant was released first, followed by the LTE version. Now, it appears that Oppo is preparing to bring this tablet to the Indian market, as it has been spotted on the Indian BIS certification database.
Here is more to it.
OPPO Pad SE spotted on BIS
The listing was first spotted by tipster Sudhanshu Ambhore, who shared the details on his X account. According to his post, the model numbers listed are OPD2420 and OPD2419, both associated with the Oppo Pad SE. While OPD2420 refers to the LTE variant, OPD2419 is the Wi-Fi version, as previously confirmed through the IMDA certification. Both the Wi-Fi and LTE variants are powered by the same Helio G100 SoC, with the only difference being that one supports cellular connectivity while the other is limited to Wi-Fi only.
OPPO Pad SE has appeared on BIS certification. Might soon launch in India.

This would mark Oppo’s return to the Indian tablet market after nearly three years. The last Oppo tablet launched in India was the Oppo Pad Air, which debuted in July 2022.
Although the BIS listing doesn’t reveal any specifications, it’s reasonable to assume the Indian variant will carry the same specs as the global model. At present, there is no confirmed launch timeline or pricing details. However, with the BIS listing now live, more information may surface soon — either through leaks or an official announcement.
