OnePlus 16 confirmed to launch in China on 12th October; New details revealed

The Chinese manufacturer OnePlus has been teasing details about its upcoming flagship OnePlus 16 smartphone in China.

During the OnePlus Gaming Conference, the company officially announced the launch date for this smartphone and also revealed its various features.

The OnePlus 16 smartphone will launch in China on 12^th October. Pre-orders for this device have also started in the country. Interested consumers can grab up to 3112 Yuan worth of gifts for only 9.9 Yuan.

The OnePlus 16 is already confirmed to arrive with the Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6 SoC. This chipset is paired with a new generation of gaming kernel, pre-programmed into the chip’s core to unleash full performance.

It offers a 185Hz ultra-high refresh rate, and the device boasts an industry-leading native 185 FPS gaming ecosystem. It delivers industry-first native 185 FPS ultra-high frame rate mode in Peacekeeper Elite, Dark Zone, Counter-Strike Online, and Naruto Mobile. It is compatible with CrossFire and Firefly as well.

The new-generation “Windspeed Gaming Kernel” has undergone a comprehensive upgrade with a fundamental technological reconstruction, delivering a gaming experience with “more stable frame rates and better image quality.” It supports native 185 FPS unlimited full frames with an industry-exclusive 185 FPS zero-latency superframe, easily handling various mainstream games and supporting full frame rate experiences across all game tiers.

The DLSS 4 Generation-Style Superframe technology enables mobile games that don’t support 185 FPS to run stably at 185 FPS, significantly improving game frame rates and greatly reducing superframe power consumption.
