Xiaomi XRING O2 Filed for Trademark in China?

As per a new update received via X tipster – ‘@faridofanani96’, Xiaomi is revealed to have applied for the ‘XRING O2’ trademark in China. Along with this, the brand has also filed and applied to register the ‘XRING T1’, ‘XRING O’, and ‘XRING T’ trademarks too. Reportedly, the ‘XRING O2′ trademark application has been submitted before China’ State Intellectual Property Office and even though the trademark approval is pending and requires several months to go through the process, this is a strong indication pointing out that Xiaomi has begun with the early development of its next XRING O2 flagship chip. Moreover, it can also be understood that Xiaomi is still investing hugely on research and development in its semi-conductor division and aims to stay as a strong competitor in this area.

Speaking about the already-unveiled XRING O1 chip, it made its initial debut on the Xiaomi 15S Pro smartphone and the Xiaomi 15 Ultra tablet. The soon-to-be-launched Xiaomi Pad 7S Pro 12.5 tablet is also going to feature this same chipset. About the specifications of this chip, it has a clock speed of up to 3.9 GHz, 3000+ points single-core and 9500+ points multi-core performance scores, better power efficiency, and integrated Immortalis-G925 16-core chip for exceptional graphics performance. With respect to its predecessor, the next and upcoming XRING O2 chip will possibly be offering even greater specs to ensure both improved CPU and GPU performances.
