New Redmi Gaming Tablet Spotted on 3C and CMIIT Certification Databases; Expected Key Specs Also Tipped

Xiaomi is now revealed to bring out a new gaming tablet under its Redmi branding and this device has now been spotted on the 3C and CMIIT certification databases of China. A tipster on the Weibo platform has also shared a few of its expected key specs too.

Redmi Gaming Tablet – 3C and CMIIT Certifications
The upcoming Redmi gaming tablet from Xiaomi has the model number – ‘25079RPDCC’ (‘C’ – Chinese variant) and it has received the 3C certification with the certificate number – ‘2025010902783278’. This device is listed under the ‘Tablet’ category and is revealed to support up to 67W wired fast charging. To note, the 3C certification validity is till the 4th of December 2027.
Xiaomi’s Redmi gaming tablet has been certified by the CMIIT authority with the approval code – ’25J1166MP007′ and approval certificate number – ‘2025-6885’. The certification issue date is mentioned to be on the 21st of April 2025, and it will be valid for the next five years. As per the CMIIT database, this device will be supporting triple-band WiFi (5.8GHz/5.1GHz/2.4GHz) and Bluetooth connectivity.
Tipster Digital Chat Station has further revealed a few more details concerning the 3C and CMIIT listed Redmi gaming tablet. The tipster notes that this Redmi gaming tablet will be a light-weight and high-performing device, and users will easily be able to hold it in one hand (~ compact size). An 8.8″ LCD display screen supporting high resolution and high refresh rate (customizable) is also revealed to be a part of the device. Furthermore, the tipster adds that the device is ‘coming soon’ – pointing to its possible imminent launch.
