While we had earlier spotted two mysterious Redmi smartphones carrying the model numbers ‘M511CD’ and ‘M098FE’ on China’s 3C certification database with 100W wired fast charging support, one of these devices has now made its appearance on the Geekbench benchmarking platform, revealing a few more key details.

Mysterious Redmi M511CD – Geekbench Listing
On the Geekbench 6.7.1 database, the mysterious Redmi smartphone carrying the model number ‘M511CD’ has been listed. At the time of testing, the device was running on an octa-core chipset carrying the codename ‘QTI SM8850’, with two cores clocked at 4.61GHz and six remaining cores operating at 3.63GHz. Looking at the chipset codename and its core configuration, the device appears to be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 flagship mobile platform.

The smartphone was further tested with the Android 16 operating system and 16GB of RAM. It managed to achieve a single-core score of 3,429 points and a multi-core score of 10,461 points.
Coming to the identity of the mysterious Redmi device, its official moniker has not yet been revealed. However, a few rumours claim that it could belong to the upcoming Redmi K100 series, with some specifically pointing towards the vanilla Redmi K100 smartphone.
Since this association is currently based only on rumours, it should be taken with a pinch of salt. More details regarding the mysterious ‘M511CD’ device could probably be revealed through future certifications and reports. Stay tuned for more updates!
