Motorola Moto G96 5G Leaked Poster Reveals it to Launch in India on 9th July 2025; Tipped to Offer Segment-Leading 144Hz Curved P-OLED Display, IP68 Rating, Pantone Curated Colors, and More
Recently, Motorola had teased a new smartphone launch in the Indian market via the Flipkart shopping platform, and this upcoming device was believed to be the Moto G96 5G smartphone. Now, as per a leaked teaser poster shared by an X tipster, the possible India launch date for this smartphone device has been revealed, along with a few other details.

Motorola Moto G96 5G – Launching on 9th July 2025 in India?
This update comes from the X tipster – @stufflistings and as per what has been shared, the Moto G96 5G will likely be arriving as the Moto G85 successor with certain notable upgrades. The launch date of this device as on the leaked poster is 9th of July 2025 – next month, at 12 PM noon, and the tipster adds that this device is seemingly specific to the Indian market only (~ global market already got the Moto G86 device).

Speaking more, the tipster also notes that several segment leading specifications can be expected on the device, and it could be featuring the segment’s first 144Hz curved P-OLED display, 10-bit FHD+ resolution, 1600 nits brightness, 100% DCI-P3 color gamut, Gorilla Glass 5 protection, Display Color Boost Technology, IP68-rated body, and Pantone Curated Colors. Just to add, the Flipkart landing page pointed out that there will be Green, Blue, Purple, and Red color choices for the device, however the Purple one hasn’t been featured on the leaked poster image. Other previously revealed specs of the device include the Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, 50MP LYTIA OIS dual rear camera unit, and the punch-hole selfie camera.
