Moto G85 Renders Leaked Ahead Of Launch Shows Curved Display And Changed Rear Design

Motorola can soon launch a new smartphone in the global market with the name of Moto G85. This smartphone recently appeared on Geekbench revealing key information and before that, it has also been spotted on European Retailer’s website with the alleged price of the handset. For the first time, its design renders have been leaked by the famous tipster Evan Blass. The leaked renders of the Moto G85 smartphone show the change in design in comparison to the Moto G84 smartphone. Unlike the Moto G84 smartphone, the Moto G85 renders show a curved display with a punch-hole cutout.

The rear side of the alleged renders of the Moto G85 smartphone also shows the change in design. The rear of the smartphone’s render shows that the camera island is not placed at a distance from the right edge but blends with the right edge. This is similar to what we have just seen in the Moto Edge 50 Pro smartphone and will also be seen in the Moto G04s smartphone. The volume and rockers are shown on the right side of the frame. The top side shows a microphone hole and “Dolby Atmos” engraved on it. The bottom side shows the speaker grille, Type-C charging port, SIM tray, and microphone hole. You won’t get to see the 3.5mm headphone jack in the render that was earlier there in its predecessor. The smartphone renders have been shared in two color options: black and green. The black one appears to have a glass rear while the green one with a leather back.

Expected specs of Moto G85 smartphone

As said the smartphone has earlier also appeared on Geekbench which has revealed that the Moto G85 smartphone will be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 4 Gen 3 chipset and will come in 8GB RAM variant. It will run Android 14 out of the box. Its listing on the European Retailer website revealed that it can come in a 12GB/256GB variant priced at  €300. It can feature a 6.67″ wide pOLED FHD+ resolution 120Hz curved display. In the camera department, the smartphone can feature a 50MP main camera on the rear with a 9MP camera. The front side of the smartphone can sport a 32MP selfie shooter. It is likely to be backed by the 5,000mAh battery that supports 33W fast charging.
