itel, a brand owned by Transsion Holdings, appears to be launching a new device under its Power series, as it has now appeared on the Geekbench database, revealing some key specs about the device.

Here is what we have found.

itel Power 80 – Geekbench

On the Geekbench database, a prototype device has appeared with the model number “P685L”, and it shows that it managed to get a single-core score of 445 and a multi-core score of 1451. Further, this Geekbench database reveals that the device, at the time of testing, was running on a Spreadtrum UMS9230E SoC with 2 primary cores clocked at 1.82GHz and the remaining 6 cores at 1.61GHz, paired with 4GB RAM and Android 16 operating system.

Now, if we compare the specs revealed via the Geekbench database for the Power 80 with the Power 70, then the processor has now been upgraded. I mean, the Power 70 comes with the MediaTek Helio G50 Ultimate SoC, which has 4× Cortex-A53 @ 1.7GHz and 4× Cortex-A53 @ 2.2GHz, while the Power 80, as per the Geekbench listing, will likely come with Spreadtrum UMS9230E SoC aka Unisoc T7250, which has 2× Cortex-A75 @ 1.82GHz and 6× Cortex-A55 @ 1.61GHz.

Previously, the above model number was also spotted on the Indonesian TKDN certification (via @infinixzero405g), where it was revealed to have the moniker Power 80. Now for the launch, the Power 70 was launched back in March of last year, so as we are now in May, we may hear a launch announcement soon from the brand.
