Back in June 2021, Karbonn launched its X21 smartphone in India, and now, after almost 5 years, the brand seems to be working on a new smartphone, as a new Karbonn smartphone has appeared on the Geekbench database.
Check out more about this device and the details revealed through its Geekbench listing below.
Karbonn ZenZ Pro – Geekbench Details
The alleged Karbonn ZenZ Pro runs on the Android 16 operating system (Karbonn_UTL_ZenZ_Pro_V1.0_26082026), and it was tested using Geekbench 7.0.0 for Android AArch64. In its benchmark test, the device scored 421 points in the single-core test and 1,511 points in the multi-core test.
The listing further confirms that the device was tested with the MediaTek MT6769V/CB octa-core chipset with six of its CPU cores clocked at 1.70GHz, and the remaining two cores at 2.00GHz. Mali-G52 MC2 GPU is revealed via the Geekbench source code of its listing. All these details point to the MediaTek Helio G70 chipset, which was introduced back in 2020 and bringing it in 2026 seems odd to me.

Other key details include the k69v1_64 motherboard and a CPU identifier listed as ARM implementer 65, architecture 8, variant 3, part 3338, revision 1. A total of 5.62GB of memory is packed within the device, suggesting that a 6GB RAM option could be offered.
A few days back, Union Electronics and IT Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw revealed that three potential Indian smartphone players could emerge within the next 10 to 14 months. However, the minister did not reveal the names of these companies.
Notably, Mivi has started teasing its first smartphone through a Flipkart microsite. Meanwhile, Boltt, a sub-brand of Fire-Boltt, has already launched the Boltt Ace 5G and Boltt Evo in India.
With the appearance of the Karbonn ZenZ Pro on the Geekbench database, it appears that Karbonn could also be preparing to make a comeback in the Indian smartphone segment.
Stay tuned for more updates!
