iPhone 17 base models tipped to be tested with Purple and Green color options by Apple

Apple is rumored to unveil its iPhone 17 series in September 2025. The series is expected to include- iPhone 17, iPhone 17 Pro, iPhone 17 Pro Max, and iPhone 17 Air models. Lately, the rumor mill has been buzzing with updates on these upcoming devices.

Today, new information has been shared by tipster @MajinBuOfficial, as per which Apple is testing Purple and Green color options for iPhone 17 base models. However, it is said that there is are high chance that only the Purple variant will be selected.

As per the tipster, the Purple variant is a vibrant and modern hue crafted for those seeking a device with a bold personality, while the Green variant is anticipated to offer a fresh and natural tone, ideal for a minimalist yet striking aesthetic. It is said that the chosen color applied to the aluminum frame will elevate iPhone 17’s sleek and elegant design.

However, to know which color is selected by the company, we do have to wait for the official release of this much-awaited smartphone series.

Previous reports suggested that Apple will introduce a large display and 120Hz refresh rate to its base device for the first time. iPhone 17 is also said to be powered by the  A18 chipset.
