Huawei Mate 70 Smartphone With a New Model Number Appears on the China Telecom Website
The leading Chinese smartphone maker – Huawei unveiled its Mate 70 series back in November 2024 consisting of the Mate 70, Mate 70 Pro, Mate 70 Pro+, and Mate 70 RS Ultimate Design devices. Now, a new model of the standard Mate 70 smartphone device bearing a different model number has been listed on the China Telecom website, retaining the same moniker, design, and configuration.

Huawei Mate 70 ‘CLS-AL30’ Model – China Telecom Website Listing
The previously-launched Huawei Mate 70 flagship smartphone that hit the market last year carried the model number – ‘CLS-AL00’, and this newly-listed model, as per what has been revealed, comes with the model number – ‘CLS-AL30’. Based on the details provided on the China Telecom Website, the new model of the Huawei Mate 70 smartphone will be made available in 12GB/256GB, 12GB/512GB, 12GB/1TB, and 12GB/512GB Hongmeng NEXT Pioneer Edition configurations, with respective price tags of CNY 5499, CNY 5999, CNY 6999, and CNY 5999.
Speaking more, the new model of the Mate 70 smartphone will also be running on the HarmonyOS 4.3 / HarmonyOS NEXT, and will arrive in the four colors choices of Obsidian Black, Snow White, Hyacinth Purple, and Spruce Green. The launch date as mentioned on the China Telecom website is 8th of March 2025.
In comparison with the previous ‘CLS-AL00’ model of the Huawei Mate 70, the ‘CLS-AL30’ device does not have a 12GB/1TB Hongmeng NEXT Pioneer Edition option, and the CMIIT IDs are different for the two. The ‘CLS-AL00′ model has a CMIIT ID of ’24J44HW2Q864’, whereas the new ‘CLS-AL30′ model has been certified with the CMIIT ID of ’24C44HW2L539’.
Also to add, the new ‘CLS-AL30’ model is suggested to have a slightly larger 6.9″ display with 1920 x 1200 pixels resolution, while the previous ‘CLS-AL00’ model features a 6.7″ display with a higher 2688 x 1216 pixels resolution.
