Huawei Mate 70 Air (SUP-AL90) Spotted on the China Telecom Database: 6.9″ Display, HarmonyOS 5.0, Storage Options, Color Choices, and Renders Revealed

Huawei’s Mate 70 Air smartphone device has now been spotted on the China Telecom database, and this new listing has revealed its key specs and design renders. From what it seems, this could be a slim and light-weight smartphone model from the Chinese consumer electronics maker.

Huawei Mate 70 Air (SUP-AL90) – China Telecom Listing

The upcoming Huawei Mate 70 Air smartphone which carries the model number of ‘SUP-AL90’ has been listed on the China Telecom database, and it is revealed to hit the market in two storage options (12GB/256GB and 12GB/512GB) and three color choices (Golden Black, White Features, and Gold x Silver Brocade). A 6.9″ display screen has also been revealed for the device, along with other specs such as the HarmonyOS 5.0, lithium battery, and USB-C port (for charging and headphones). While the product launch date is mentioned as 20th October 2025, the device is still yet to have its official launch (possibly in early November 2025 as per other reports).

Coming to its design, the display screen is suggested to be flat and notably it has two front-facing cameras. At the rear, a projected circular camera module has been given at the top-center portion, and it houses three camera sensors and an LED light strip (~ dual tone flash). The XMAGE-branding can also be seen within the camera module. Regarding the side panels, they are rounded and have antenna lines along them. The volume rockers + power button are given at the right side panel, while the left remains vacant. Its speaker holes, USB-C port, microphone hole, and card tray are at the bottom, while added holes can also be found on the top portion which points to the possibility for a dual speaker system.

We have already seen many new slim and light-weight smartphones being introduced by large brands like Samsung (Galaxy S25 Edge) and Apple (iPhone Air), and also by Tecno (Pova Slim 5G, Spark Slim) and Nubia (Air Slim). Slim form factor smartphones are also launching soon under Motorola and Lenovo too. As mentioned above, the upcoming Huawei Mate 70 Air is also expected to be a slim form factor smartphone, and the brand might be planning to compete with other such devices in the market.
