HONOR is expected to launch its upcoming Magic9 series in its home market, China, later this month. Now, out of the blue, we have spotted the HONOR Magic9 Lite+ on both the GCF and EMVCo certification databases, hinting at its global launch.
Here’s what has been revealed.
HONOR Magic9 Lite+ – GCF
On the GCF database, the device has been listed with the model number BSN-NX1M, while its marketing name is confirmed as HONOR Magic9 Lite+.
The listing reveals the following details:
- Manufacturer: Honor Device Co., Ltd.
- Model Number: BSN-NX1M
- Marketing Name: HONOR Magic9 Lite+
- Certification Date: 28 August 2026
- GCF Reference: 13995
Apart from confirming the moniker, the certification also reveals several connectivity and multimedia-related details. The upcoming device is confirmed to support Removable UICC, RSP (Remote SIM Provisioning) for Consumer Devices based on GSMA SGP.22 V2, and Non-Removable eUICC.
Honor Magic 9 Lite+ – GCF
The listing further reveals support for H.264/AVC, H.265/HEVC, and VP9 video codecs.
HONOR Magic9 Lite+ – EMVCo
Moving to the EMVCo database, the same BSN-NX1M model number has also been listed here. Interestingly, another model number, BSN-NX3, has also appeared with the same HONOR Magic9 Lite+ moniker.
The certification entries reveal the following:

Apart from confirming that the HONOR Magic9 Lite+ will have at least two model numbers, the EMVCo listings do not reveal any key specifications of the device.
However, with the smartphone now making its appearance on multiple regulatory and certification databases, we may hear more about its global launch in the coming days.
