Honor 600 Smart (MRK-NX1) Smartphone Appears on the Global Certification Forum Database Revealing Connectivity Features, Also Spotted on SGS Certification

Following the global launch of the Honor 600 series—including the Honor 600, 600 Pro, and 600 Lite 5G (aka Honor 500 Smart)—a new device identified as the ‘Honor 600 Smart’ has now appeared in the Global Certification Forum (GCF) and SGS certification databases.

Honor 600 Smart – GCF and SGS Certification

Via the GCF certification listing, it has now been revealed that the upcoming Honor 600 Smart smartphone carries the model number “MRK-NX1”. The listing further mentions that the device received its approval on May 21st 2026 with the GCF reference number “13731”.

Apart from revealing these details, the certification listing has also revealed a few of the connectivity features and supported network bands of the upcoming smartphone. As per the listing, the device supports GSM 850/900/1800/1900 bands under the 2G GSM network, along with EDGE Class 12 support. Under the 3G WCDMA network, WCDMA I, II, V, and VIII bands are supported, along with HSDPA Category 24 and Enhanced Uplink Category 6 support.

Honor 600 Smart - GCF

Regarding the 4G LTE network, LTE FDD bands 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 7, 8, 20, 28, and 32 are supported, while LTE TDD bands 38, 40, and 41 are also listed. Coming to the 5G network, the smartphone supports both 5G NR SA and 5G EN-DC NSA connectivity. Supported 5G FR1 bands include n1, n3, n7, n8, n20, n28, n38, n40, n41, n77, and n78.

The certification listing also reveals support for removable UICC cards, AV1, H.264 AVC, H.265 HEVC, and VP9 video codecs, along with OMA MMS support.

Honor 600 Smart - SGS Certficiation

Moving to the SGS certification listing, while the moniker of the device is not specifically mentioned, the same “MRK-NX1” model number has appeared on the database. Not much has been revealed via this certification listing, however, it mentions that the battery of the device has been tested to work at an altitude of up to 2000m and under temperatures of up to 35 degree Celsius.
