Honor 600 Series May Include Three New Models as HONOR 600 Lite S, Honor 600s, and Honor 600 Elite Appear on EMVCo

Honor’s upcoming Honor 600 series may likely be including three new smartphone models. These devices have now made their appearance on the EMVCo certification database, and their monikers have been revealed via the certification listings.

Honor 600 Lite S, Honor 600s, and Honor 600 Elite – EMVCo Certification

On the EMVCo certification database, the upcoming HONOR 600 Lite S and Honor 600s smartphone devices have been certified with the same model number of ‘MRK-NX1’, and these carry the registration number of ‘HODC.V 21 0404’. To note, this is the same model number and registration number that were previously associated with the yet-to-be-announced Honor X7e Plus 5G and the already-launched Honor 600 Smart 5G handset.

This points out that the newly spotted HONOR 600 Lite S and Honor 600s could probably be arriving as rebranded versions of the Honor X7e Plus 5G and Honor 600 Smart 5G, and may likely be featuring the same spec sheet too. As per the certification listings, both the devices will be running on the Android 16 operating system, while NFC support has also been confirmed for the two.

The next device that has been certified is the Honor 600 Elite, and this smartphone has received the EMVCo approval with the registration number of ‘HODC.V 21 0404’. However, unlike the other two devices, the Honor 600 Elite carries the model number of ‘MRK-NX3’. Regarding what has been revealed, this device too will be running on the Android 16 operating system, and NFC support has also been listed for it.

With the NFC connectivity support, the upcoming Honor 600 Lite S, Honor 600s, and Honor 600 Elite smartphones will likely be supporting contactless payment services as well. As of now, apart from the monikers, model numbers, Android 16 operating system, and NFC support, no other major specifications of these newly discovered Honor smartphones have been revealed through the EMVCo database.
