Google Pixel Watch 5 Specifications Revealed via Google Play Console Listing; Could It Feature the Same Processor as the Pixel Watch 4?
Google has already confirmed its next Made by Google event, which is now only around a month away. While the company has not officially revealed the products that will be introduced at the conference, the upcoming Pixel 11 series and Pixel Watch 5 are expected to be among its main highlights. The Pixel Watch 5 was previously spotted on the Google Play Console Supported Devices List, and its alleged European pricing and color choices were also leaked online. Now, some additional details concerning the upcoming smartwatch have been revealed via its Google Play Console listing.
Check out more about the latest findings below.
Google Pixel Watch 5
Just like on the Google Play Console Supported Devices List, the smartwatch is mentioned with the Pixel Watch 5 moniker, along with the “google godric_btwifi” device code. The listing further reveals the processor codename as Qualcomm SW5100, consisting of four ARM Cortex-A53 CPU cores clocked at 1700 MHz and a Qualcomm Adreno 702 GPU clocked at 1000 MHz.

While it is difficult to derive the exact processor name from this codename, the same Qualcomm SW5100 codename was reportedly listed for the Pixel Watch 4, which arrived with the Snapdragon W5 Gen 2 wearable processor. This suggests that the upcoming Pixel Watch 5 may also feature the same chipset. Additionally, the listing indicates that the smartwatch will ship with Android 17 out of the box, and it is also expected to equip 2GB of RAM.
Its design has also been revealed through a placeholder image, which shows a circular smartwatch design similar to the Pixel Watch 4 in a Black color option. The Gemini icon can also be spotted on the watch face, suggesting that Google may equip its next-generation smartwatch with several Gemini-powered features. Regarding the display, it is listed with a 426 × 426 pixels screen resolution and a pixel density of 320 DPI (xhdpi).

However, there remains some doubt regarding the processor information mentioned in the listing, particularly because previous rumors had claimed that the Pixel Watch 5 would feature Qualcomm’s recently introduced Snapdragon Wear Elite chipset. On the other hand, both the Pixel Watch 2 and Pixel Watch 3 were launched with the same Snapdragon W5 Gen 1 processor. Therefore, if the details mentioned in the listing turn out to be accurate, Google may once again use the same wearable processor across two consecutive Pixel Watch generations.
