CMF Buds Neo India Launch Hinted as It Appears on BIS Database, Also Spotted on Indonesian SDPPI Alongside Nothing Ear (3a)

A new detail has surfaced online, revealing that Nothing as a brand is likely to launch two new earbuds soon. Out of these, one will be launched under its own branding, while the other will be brought out via its sub-brand – CMF.

Read more about it below.

Nothing Ear (3a) – SDPPI / CMF Buds Neo – SDPPI and BIS

Out of the two, speaking first about the Nothing Ear (3a), this upcoming earbuds device has now been spotted on the Indonesian SDPPI certification database. It has appeared with the model number “B193” and the certification number “122342/DJID/2026”, while the listing also confirms that it was certified today, on the 2nd of June 2026.

To note, Nothing had previously released the Nothing Ear and Nothing Ear (a), but the brand did not bring out an “a” model for the Nothing Ear (2). Following the launch of the Nothing Ear (3) last year, and almost eight months after its debut, the Nothing Ear (3a) has now made its appearance on the certification platform. Similar to the Ear (a), the upcoming Ear (3a) can be expected to arrive with comparatively fewer features and may likely be priced lower than the Nothing Ear (3).

CMF Buds Neo and Nothing Ear (3a) - SDPPI

On the same certification platform, CMF’s upcoming Buds Neo has also been spotted. This earbuds device carries the model number “B190” and has received the certification number “122343/DJID/2026”. The listing again confirms that this device also received its approval today itself, on the 2nd of June 2026. Via the SDPPI certification, both the Nothing Ear (3a) and CMF Buds Neo are now confirmed to launch in Indonesia, however, no specifications or other key details have been listed on the database.

CMF Buds Neo - BIS

Moreover, the CMF Buds Neo with the model number “B190” has also been spotted on India’s Bureau of Indian Standards certification platform. The BIS listing carries the R-number “R-93047031” and is dated the 29th of May 2026. Under the manufacturer name, the listing mentions “Optiemus Electronics Limited”, while the manufacturer address has been listed as “PLOT NO. B-06, SECTOR 85, NOIDA-201305, GAUTAM BUDDHA NAGAR, UTTAR PRADESH, INDIA, UTTAR PRADESH, 201305”. This suggests that the CMF Buds Neo will be manufactured in India.

Just to add, last year, Nothing’s CEO Carl Pei had also confirmed that the company would be manufacturing its CMF product line under the Make in India initiative, with an investment of over USD 100 million over the next three years.

As for the specifications of these upcoming earbuds, we will have to wait for more updates. Since both devices have now appeared on global certification platforms, their official launch can be expected to take place soon.
