According to the tipster, many brands are working on launching 4G phones under Rs 25,000 in India, and the new launches are expected to take place between July and September 2026, before the festive season officially kicks in India.
It appears that due to the sales getting affected for the 5G devices, brands are now eyeing the price-sensitive buyers with the 4G devices to keep entry-level phones affordable. Though the tipped price range still sounds costly for a 4G device.
This decision seems to have been driven by the high component costs due to the massive growth of AI, which resulted in smartphone manufacturers drastically hiking prices of smartphones or cutting hardware features.
