Samsung S5E8365 Chipset – Geekbench Listing
As per what has been revealed (via the tipster @yabhishekhd), while the Geekbench listing does not mention the official name of the processor, the motherboard section points to the codename “S5E8365”, which does not belong to any previously-announced Samsung chipset. The listing further reveals that it features an octa-core architecture, consisting of two performance cores clocked at 2.40 GHz and six efficiency cores clocked at 2.00 GHz. It is also said to be integrated with the Mali-G68 GPU as per the source code.
Additionally, this prototype device has been tested with the Android 16 operating system and is coupled with an 8GB RAM option. When compared with the existing Exynos 1280 chipset, both appear to share a similar core configuration.

The Geekbench listing also mentions “Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd. Full Android on S5E8365 ERD”, wherein ERD refers to Exynos Reference Design, suggesting that this is currently a prototype unit meant for testing purposes. Due to this, the single-core and multi-core scores of 966 points and 2421 points respectively may not accurately reflect its final performance.
When comparing these scores with the Geekbench results of the Galaxy A25 smartphone powered by the Exynos 1280 SoC, the single-core performance appears to be nearly similar, while the multi-core score is slightly higher by around 232 points.

Speaking more, as per a listing on the Namuwiki website, the S5E8365 processor is said to carry the codename “Telos”, which is reportedly named after Lake Telos located in Maine, United States, and it was first spotted via logistics-related information back in January 2026. However, apart from these details, there is currently no official information regarding its launch timeline or its final marketing name.
Stay tuned for more updates.
