Alleged Samsung Galaxy Z Tri-Fold (SM-F968B/DS) Spotted on Singapore’s IMDA Certification Database

After being certified by the Bluetooth SIG authority, Samsung’s Galaxy Z Tri-Fold (alleged) has received the IMDA certification. Via the new certification listing, its possible arrival for customers in Singapore has also been pointed out.

Alleged Samsung Galaxy Z Tri-Fold (SM-F968B/DS) – IMDA Certification

The alleged Samsung Galaxy Z Tri-Fold smartphone which carries the model number of ‘SM-F968B/DS’ has been spotted on the IMDA certification platform of Singapore, and this upcoming device is listed as a 5G phone supporting NFC, WiFi, Bluetooth, and UWB connectivity. Also to add, the device is categorized under the ultra wideband (UWB) devices section. As mentioned, the IMDA certification listing also suggests its launch in the Singaporean market too.

Looking into previous updates, the Samsung Galaxy Z Tri-Fold regional variants with the model numbers of ‘SM-D639N’, ‘SM-D6390’, ‘SM-D639U’, ‘SM-D639U1’, ‘SM-D639B’, and ‘SM-D639B/DS were listed on the Bluetooth SIG certification database. Based on the model numbers, these are respectively the South Korean, Chinese, United States (carrier-locked + unlocked), and international variants. As earlier mentioned, rumors have arrived revealing that even though there is an international variant, the device may possibly only reach the UAE, Taiwan, and Singapore markets. In terms of its debut, it is said to take place some time this year itself – in 2025.

Speaking more, a 6.5″ to up to 10″ screen size (earlier reported to be 9.96″), 25W wired fast charging (via 3C), NFC connectivity, 298gm weight, and a Black color choice are the expected specs of the device. About its pricing, a price tag of about KRW 3 million can be expected.
