Alleged Redmi Note 17 Pro Chinese Variant Spotted on 3C Certification Database With 67W Charging Support

Xiaomi’s sub-brand Redmi is said to be working on the successor to its Note 15 series, and as per the rumor mill, the upcoming lineup will likely be called the Redmi Note 17 series. In the past few weeks, one of the models from the global variants of this upcoming series has already been spotted on the EEC certification platform, and now, what appears to be a device from the same Redmi Note 17 series has been discovered on the 3C certification database.

Alleged Redmi Note 17 Series Device Spotted on 3C Certification Database
This newly discovered device on the 3C certification platform carries the model number “2607DRA18C”, and the listing further reveals that the certificate was issued on the 25th of June 2026. Coming to the charging specs, the listing confirms that the device will support a charging adapter carrying the model number “MDY-15-EQ”, which re-iterates that it will be supporting 67W wired fast charging.

To compare, both the Redmi Note 15 and Redmi Note 15 Pro smartphones were launched with 45W wired fast charging support, and if the rumor mill is to be believed, this newly spotted model number could belong to the Chinese variant of the Redmi Note 17 Pro. In short, it seems like Xiaomi could be bringing charging upgrades to the upcoming successor when compared to the previous generation models.
While there is no definite launch date available as of now, the Redmi Note 17 series can be expected to first make its debut in China, followed by its launch in the global markets later. A few early reports have claimed that the devices could be launching in China next month, that is in July 2026.
Speaking more about the expected specifications, a few media reports have also speculated that the Redmi Note 17 Pro may feature a 9000 mAh battery, 1.5K resolution display, and a 50MP rear camera. Furthermore, if the rumors are true, the device could also become the second handset to arrive powered by the Snapdragon 6 Gen 5 chipset, with the Honor X80 Pro Max being the first device to feature the same processor after its recent China launch.
