Last month, OnePlus officially teased the launch of its upcoming flagship smartphone, the OnePlus 16. The device was said to launch in the second half of this year, and online rumours suggest that the launch could take place in October.
Ahead of this rumoured launch, an OnePlus device with model number PYB110 has been spotted on China’s SRRC certification website. And this device is expected to be the OnePlus 16 smartphone.
Alleged OnePlus 16 spotted on SRRC database
The database reveals that the device will support the N79 5G band and GSM/WCDMA/TD-LTE/LTE FDD/5G/WLAN/Bluetooth connectivity options.

Other than this, not much has been revealed regarding the device, but since it has started making its appearance online, we may come across some more details in the coming days.
Speaking about its expected specifications, previous reports have claimed that the OnePlus 16 could use Qualcomm’s upcoming Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 Pro chipset. The device is also tipped to sport a 6.78″ OLED display with ultra-narrow bezels and support a refresh rate of up to 185Hz. A large 9,000mAh battery is rumoured to be packed within the smartphone as well.
Last month, it was tipped that the OnePlus 16 smartphone may not make its way to India, though the exact reason behind this decision is still not clear.
