Nothing’s sub-brand, CMF by Nothing, has already announced its plan to launch the CMF Phone 1. Now, it appears a new earphone from the CMF is set to enter the market soon. This is indicated by the appearance of a new model number on the BIS and UAE’s TDRA certifications.
CMF Earphone on BIS and UAE’s TDRA
The TDRA certification reveals the model number “B172” and classifies it as a short-range/low-power device. This new earphone has been listed with the equipment registration number “ER32334/24” and was approved on June 6, 2024. While the TDRA certification doesn’t specify whether it is from Nothing or its sub-brand, the BIS certification confirms that this new earphone is from CMF by Nothing.
It is listed there with the same model number “B172” and was approved on May 9, 2024. As for its specifications or moniker, both are unknown, but we can expect more details about this upcoming earphone to emerge soon.
