There has been an increase in YouTube channels across many different genres. Following the pandemic, when people were confined to their homes and had to follow government restrictions due to Covid-19, the effect of this increase became more dramatic. In order to become the best YouTuber you must have something that seems out of the box to the audience.

There is a lot of money to be made on YouTube. You can use it as a passive income, and it has helped many individuals during times of pandemics when people had to lose their jobs. 

1. Jefree star:

Jeffree Star, started on YouTube in 2006, is an actual YouTube STAR today. He built a fanbase on myspace for his career as a makeup artist before starting his YouTube channel. Today, he is well known for his makeup, but he also has many talents. Initially, he gained fame for his melodious singing. Through his makeup career, he channeled the fame he gained from singing. 

His already subscribed 11.7 million followers grew by over 5 million in 2019 alone. A big part of his popularity is attributed to his commenting and involvement in the feud between James Charles and Tatti Westbrook.  It is reasonable to expect that he will achieve greater heights in 2021 as a result of his sheer effort and determination. At the age of 13, he discovered his true passion, and he’s devoted his life to it ever since, as it has seemingly paid off.

2. Like Nastya show

The like Nastya show channel is run by a 5-year-old Russian American named Stacy (or Nastya in Russian). Her doctors thought she would never be able to speak again due to cerebral palsy. In order to show their friends and relatives, Stacy’s parents began filming her playing with her father.

However, they soon blew up on social media, with 23.1 million followers at present. More than 13 million of these just came in 2019.  Now, she earns over $18 million a year and is the third highest-paid YouTuber. 

As Stacy and her father go on different adventures together, she controls multiple different channels. Her most popular channel, however, is her native one in Russia. Among new parents, it is a popular channel.

3. 5-Minute Crafts

There is an artist in all of us, and this channel is for them. The videos they produce are do-it-yourself videos about lifestyle and beauty tips. Since their focus shifted to crafts and prank videos, they have seen a 17 million increase in subscribers. 

After they repeated videos to pass them off as new, the channel got into trouble. By the end of 2018, they stopped this practice, which caused the page to explode on social media with new content bringing in new followers.

4. WWE

WWE, formerly WWEFanNation, has over 50 million subscribers and is currently YouTube’s one of the most subscribed sports channels. In 2019, they have more than 52 million followers after uploading short clips of 1 to 3 minutes multiple times a day and garnering more than 14 million followers. 

WWE regularly updates its playlists and features the most current and relevant songs. Likewise, WWE updates its channel banner with the newest and most relevant event going on right now.

5. SSSniperWolf

YouTube gamer Alia Shelesh, 27, was born in England. She began her gaming channel with videos on Black Ops and Call of Duty, but she has evolved since then and now focuses on reaction videos. Her subscribers number over 17 million, and she just added another 2.8 million last year, making her one of the most popular female gamers. In a field previously dominated by men, this represents a major change. 

She won Nickelodeon’s Kid’s Choice Awards for Favorite Gamer in 2019, which was met with a lot of backlash suggesting that she won due to her “sex appeal.” Although disgusting, the controversy helped bring her to the public eye.

In summary, you need to get out of your comfort zone in order for your YouTube channels to become popular. Make your content engaging and appealing by letting your imagination take unique steps and letting it overflow with creativity.
