Vivo X90S launched as a minor update of Vivo X90- Let’s check out the difference between the two

Vivo X90S was unveiled yesterday in China and is the latest addition to the already-launched X90 series. This all-new smartphone is visually identical to Vivo X90 but has arrived with a minor update that makes it different from the base model. In this article, we are going to see how this latest device differs from Vivo X90 and why a consumer should go for it rather than Vivo X90.

Vivo X90S vs Vivo X90

In terms of display, both smartphones sport a 6.78-inch AMOLED display that offers a 120 Hz refresh rate. While the smartphones are also similar in terms of camera features as they consist of a triple rear camera setup that includes a 50MP primary camera and pair of 12MP camera sensors whereas on the front both the devices are equipped with a 32MP selfie camera.

The minor update that we were talking about was that the newly launched Vivo X90S is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 9200+ processor while the Vivo X90 is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 9200 processor. Both devices run on Android 13 OS.

If we talk about the battery and storage, both smartphones offer up to 12GB RAM and 512GB storage whereas both of them house a 4810mAh battery that supports 120W fast charging. Another minor difference is the availability of color variants, Vivo X90 made its debut with China Red, Ice Blue, white, and Original Black color variants. On the other hand, Vivo X90S also arrives with black, red, and white shades but the new addition is the Cyan variant.

Coming to the pricing of both devices, the 12GB+512GB variant of Vivo X90 is priced at RMB 4,999 in China whereas the same variant for Vivo X90S is priced at RMB 4,699 in China.
