Looking at the performance of the two smartphones, the Nothing Phone 1 is capable of offering a better performance than the Galaxy A54 5G smartphone. The Nothing Phone 1 has the Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G+ 5G (6 nm) chipset equipped within and has a primary clock speed of 2.5 GHz. The Galaxy A54 5G on the other hand has the brand’s own Exynos 1380 (5 nm) chipset which has a primary clock speed of 2.4 GHz.

When the Galaxy A54 5G offers a Super AMOLED display, the Nothing Phone 1 only brings an OLED display for its users. However, the Nothing Phone 1 has a larger display of 6.55″ compared to the 6.4″ display offered in the Galaxy A54 5G smartphone. Both the devices have same refresh rates and similar screen resolutions of 120Hz and 1080 x 2400 pixels, respectively.

Now about the cameras, both the smartphones has the same 50MP main camera on its rear but the Samsung Galaxy A54 5G has a triple camera setup on its rear while the Nothing Phone 1 has a dual camera setup. The Nothing Phone 1 also brings a 50MP ultrawide angle camera and is comparatively better than the 12MP ultrawide angle camera offered in the Galaxy smartphone. It is also to be noted that the Galaxy A54 5G smartphone also has a 5MP macro camera which is absent in the Nothing Phone 1.

The Samsung Galaxy A54 5G also offers a 32MP front facing camera which is better than the 16MP selfie camera we get in the Nothing Phone 1.

Speaking of the battery backups, the Galaxy A54 5G smartphone is equipped with a better battery backup of 5000 mAh while the Nothing Phone 1 has a 4500 mAh battery. However, when it comes to the fast charging features, the Nothing Phone 1 offers a faster fast charging feature of 33W compared to the 25W fast charge feature provided in the Galaxy A54 5G. The Nothing Phone 1 also supports a wireless fast charging and a reverse wireless charging features, both of which are absent on the Galaxy A54 5G.

So in comparing the two, the Nothing Phone 1 offers a slightly better performance, larger display, better ultra wide angle camera and brings better fast charging features. The Samsung Galaxy A54 5G smartphone on the other hand has an additional 5MP macro camera, a better selfie camera and a better battery backup. If you are a person who wants a better performance on your device, then the Nothing Phone 1 is the most ideal choice for you. However, if what you want is a better selfie camera and a longer battery life, then you can consider getting the Galaxy A54 5G smartphone.
