OPPO Enco X2 vs OnePlus Buds Pro 2 vs Nothing Ear 2: A Spec Comparison

Starting with the drivers used, the OPPO Enco X2 features an 11mm dynamic driver and a 6mm planar diaphragm driver which has a frequency response range of  20Hz ~ 40kHz. The OnePlus Buds Pro 2 uses an 11mm woofer and a 6mm tweeter with a frequency of 10Hz ~ 40kHz. Compared to this the Nothing Ear 2 comes with a better 11.6mm dynamic driver which has a frequency range of upto 195kHz.

Coming to the noise cancellation feature, both the OPPO and OnePlus earbuds only have a 38dB noise cancellation feature whereas the Nothing Ear 2 has a better noise cancellation feature of up to 40.

All three devices are equipped with three microphones on each earbud. However when it comes to the Bluetooth version, the OnePlus and Nothing earbuds support Bluetooth of version 5.3 whereas the OPPO Enco X2 supports Bluetooth version 5.2. Regarding the devices’ Bluetooth range, the Nothing Earbuds offers a range of upto 15 meters while the other two earbuds only offer a Bluetooth range of upto 10 meters.

About the devices’ battery life, with the active noise cancellation feature turned off, the OPPO Enco X2 will offer its user a battery life of 6.5 hours and along with the charging case a total of 27 hours. With the active noise cancellation turned on, the device will offer 5 hours of battery life, expandable to upto 20 hours with the charging case. The OnePlus Buds Pro 2 offers a battery life of 9 hours, expandable to upto 39 hours with the ANC turned off and with the ANC turned on, will be able to give its users a battery life of 6 hours which can be expanded to upto 25 hours with the charging case. For the Nothing Ear 2, with the ANC turned off, the device will offer 6.3 hours of battery life that is expandable to upto 36 hours and while the ANC is turned on, will offer a battery life of 4 hours which can be expanded to upto 22.5 hours.

Now lastly about its price, among the three earbuds the OnePlus Buds 2 is the costliest and is priced at Rs. 11,999(OnePlus website) followed by the OPPO Enco X2 which has a price of Rs. 10,999(OPPO website). The Nothing Ear 2 is the cheapest option among the three and is available at a price of Rs. 9,999(Flipkart).

So comparing the three devices, feature-wise the Nothing Ear 2 is the best, but when it comes to battery life, the OnePlus Buds Pro 2 is the best. However, the Nothing Ear 2 is still able to offer good battery life for its users and is priced the least among the three devices making it a better option than the OPPO Enco 2X and the OnePlus Buds Pro 2 earbuds. With this, it can be considered that the Nothing Ear 2 is the best or maybe a better option among the three earbuds.
