Vivo Y78+ 5G Specifications, Variants and Price Revealed Ahead of Launch
The key specs, storage variants, and the price of the upcoming Vivo Y78+ smartphone have now been revealed via China Telecom Listing. The poster of the upcoming smartphone has also now been shared on the Weibo platform.

Key Specs, Variants, and Price of the Vivo Y78+ 5G Revealed
The Vivo Y78+ 5G is going to arrive equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 chipset and is expected to operate on the Android 13-based OriginOS custom user interface. The device will also have RAM variants of upto 12GB and internal storage variants of upto 256GB.
Speaking of its design, the device will have a dimension of 162.24 x 74.79 x 7.89mm and will weigh about 177 grams. At its rear, the smartphone has a camera module at its top left corner, which houses the two circular camera rings and the LED flash, and at its bottom left corner, there is also the Vivo branding. Coming to its front, the Y78+ 5G from Vivo will be the first smartphone from Vivo’s Y series to feature a curved display panel. It will also have a punch-hole selfie camera.
To speak more about its display, the smartphone will have an OLED display panel with a screen resolution of 6.78 inches and a full HD+ screen resolution. As mentioned, it will be a curved display panel with a refresh rate of 120Hz.
The smartphone will have a dual camera setup at its rear with a 50MP main camera with OIS(optical image stabilization) support and an additional 2MP camera.
From the China Telecom Listing, the Vivo Y78+ 5G smartphone will have three storage variants which include 8GB/128GB, 8GB/ 256GB and 12GB/256GB variants. The device is also expected to have its release in the Chinese market on the 26th of April, 2023, and will be available in three color choices – Moon Shadow Black, Warm Sun Gold, and Sky Blue.
Regarding its price, the 8GB/128GB, 8GB/256GB, and 12GB/256GB storage variants are expected to be priced at CNY 1,799(about Rs. 21,500), CNY 2,199 (about Rs. 26,250) and CNY 2,299(about Rs. 27,450) respectively.
The poster of the upcoming smartphone was shared on the Weibo platform by the tipster Panda is Bald, and the shared poster has a tagline “New Arrivals”. The key specs like its 120Hz curved OLED display and 50MP OIS camera have also been mentioned in the poster. The tipster has also mentioned that the smartphone will be released aimed at the offline markets in China.
