In the ongoing season of price hikes, both Amazon and Flipkart have announced their upcoming Freedom sales for the Indian market. The two e-commerce platforms will be offering discounts, exchange benefits, no-cost EMI options, bank offers, and several other deals across different product categories.

Amazon Great Freedom Sale – Starts August 7th
As per the promotional page, the Amazon Great Freedom Sale will begin in India on the 7th of August 2026 with the tagline ‘Big Savings for Everyone’. During the sale, customers will be able to take advantage of exchange offers, no-cost EMI options, Amazon coupons, and an instant discount of 10% on purchases made using HDFC Bank credit cards and EasyEMI transactions.
Speaking about the Amazon Pay offers, customers will be able to receive a shopping reward of ₹50 through the Send Money offer, up to ₹2,000 cashback through Cashback Rewards, and savings of up to 10% on gift cards and vouchers. Offers of up to ₹50 on mobile recharges, up to ₹999 on car insurance premiums, and additional benefits on bike insurance will also be made available.
Flipkart Freedom Sale – Starts August 8th
Coming to Flipkart, its Freedom Sale will begin for all customers on the 8th of August 2026. However, Flipkart Plus members, Black members, and Flipkart Credit Card holders will receive 24-hour early access to the sale, allowing them to access the offers starting on the 7th of August.
During the Flipkart Freedom Sale, customers will be able to avail of a 10% instant discount on purchases made using SBI credit cards, and the offer will also be applicable to eligible EMI transactions. Flipkart Axis Bank Credit Card users will further be able to receive 5% cashback on their purchases.
Both have not yet revealed the complete product-specific deals, and they are expected to be announced as the sale approaches.
