Why boycott Flipkart and Amazon trending on Twitter?

India’s biggest e-commerce platforms Flipkart and Amazon both has drawn controversy for selling a derogative t-shirt graphics including late actor of Bollywood Sushant Singh Rajput.

A report says that fans were angered when one Twitter user shared the picture of the t-shirt which shown the late bollywood star in a negative way. Since then several users have been using hashtag to call for a boycott campaign of both the e-commerce site, Flipkart and Amazon.

According to sources the t-shirt attached a photograph of the late actor along with a caption saying “Depression is like Drowning,” which angered his fans severely. The fans were saying of  Twitter that the t-shirt predicted the reason for SSR’s death while no judgement was passed itself by the coart clearly stating the reason for his death. Fans demanded immediate removal of the product from all e-commerce sites. Some fans claimed that the e-coomerce sites have deliberately defamed the beloved actor by reducing his death to the cause of depression.

Some fans even demanded an CBI inspection upon calling it a smear campaign against SSR.

Some Twitter handle directly asked the e-commerce sites to stop maligning SSR by saying, “How dare you Flipkart and Amazon call Sushant depressed? There is absolutely no evidence proving he was depressed.”

Some netizen demanded an apology from the e-commerce sites and stated that both the sites should refrain from cheap marketing tactics to earn customers.
